Librokilo is a project that combines a love for books with a commitment to sustainable publishing.
Every day in Italy, more than 230 titles are published — almost 10 every hour*.
More than half of these books remain unsold and are returned to the publisher or distributor after just a few weeks, risking to be pulped because storing them costs more than destroying them.
