LIBROKILO FIRENZE

14-15 nov 2026

Librokilo returns to Florence with a two-day event on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November at Manifattura Tabacchi’s new events venue, MOTEL – a room opening out onto the city, a hybrid space that comes to life through those who inhabit it, pass through it and experience it.

WHERE

Manifattura Tabacchi, via delle Cascine, 35, at MOTEL room.

WHEN

Saturday the 14° of Nov. from 10:00 to 19:00;

Sunday the 15° of Nov from 10:00 to 18:00.

AND MORE

Also at Florance, you’ll be able to bring your books along to be re-circulated and receive a €1 voucher to spend at the event.

Thanks to the patronage of the City of Florence, the hospitality of Manifattura Tabacchi and our charity partner WAMI (Water with a Mission), which will be distributing water free of charge in 100 per cent recyclable packaging and, for every bottle, will provide 100 litres of drinking water to a community somewhere in the world that lacks access to it.

HOW DOES LIBROKILO WORK?

Choose the books you want and weigh them on our scales: 1 kg equals €10 regardless of the type or quantity of books. The minimum purchase is 1 kg. Beyond that, we also count the decimals — so, for example, if your stack weighs 1.3 kg, you’ll pay €13.

IS ENTRY FREE?

Yes, entry is free, but registration is required.

CAN I BRING MY USED BOOKS?

Yes! During the event you can bring your books in excellent condition, up to a maximum of 5 kg. We do not accept dictionaries, encyclopedias, newspaper inserts, magazines, self-published or loose issues.

The final selection will be at Librokilo’s discretion. For every kilo of books you bring, you will receive a token of 1 € that can be used only during the ongoing event.

HOW CAN I PAY?

You can pay in cash, by credit or debit card, and via Satispay.

HOW DOES ACCESS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES OR SPECIAL NEEDS WORK?

Librokilo strives to be an inclusive experience where everyone feels welcome.

Let us know when you arrive — a staff member will assist you with priority entry. If you have specific needs, contact us before the event at info@librokilo.it
